Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of parsimony.com and the services described on it: Parsimony Automate (marketing automation), AI chat and voice agents, and managed Cloud ERP. By using the site or a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Parties

These terms are between Parsimony LLC ("Parsimony," "we," "us") and you or the business you represent ("you," "customer").

2. What we offer

  • Parsimony Automate — self-serve marketing automation (Go High Level white-label) purchased directly on /pricing.
  • Parsimony Chat — self-serve AI chat and voice agents purchased inside the app at chat.parsimony.com (see §3). Larger deployments with custom integrations are scoped per engagement.
  • Cloud ERP — managed ERPNext on Frappe Cloud, custom-quoted and scoped per engagement; the uptime target is stated on /erp, not in a generic "service agreement."

3. Automate and Parsimony Chat subscription terms

Automate plans (Startup $57, Professional $199, Premium $497 per month, plus the optional 24/7 support add-on) are purchased through Stripe checkout on /pricing. Specifics:

  • Startup starts with a 30-day free trial; Professional and Premium start with a 7-day free trial. Your card is authorized but not charged until the trial ends.
  • Billing is monthly and renews automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us; cancellation stops the next renewal.
  • We do not offer refunds for the unused portion of a billing month, except where required by law.
  • Stripe processes payment; GoHighLevel/LeadConnector is the underlying platform. Both act as our sub-processors for this service.

Parsimony Chat packages (Kick-Off $97, Growth Plan $197, Agency $497 per month) are purchased inside the app at chat.parsimony.com. Specifics:

  • Every package starts with a 15-day free trial. No card is taken at signup.
  • Billing starts only if you add a payment method after the trial; the package then bills monthly and renews automatically until you cancel inside the app. Cancel inside the app before the trial ends and you are not billed.
  • AI voice minutes beyond the package's free minutes bill inside Parsimony Chat.

4. Nonprofit chatbot program

Free chatbot access under the program described on /chat-bot-for-non-profits requires keeping the "Powered by Parsimony" badge and a link from your supporters page for as long as you use the free tier; removing either ends your eligibility for the free tier.

5. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for your account credentials, for activity under your account, for the accuracy of information you give us, and for your use of the service complying with applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use our services to violate the law, infringe intellectual property, transmit malware or spam, impersonate a person or entity, harvest personal data without consent, or disrupt the service. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section.

7. Data ownership

You retain ownership of the data you put into a service you use — Automate CRM data, ERP business data, AI agent training content and conversation data. We process it only as necessary to provide the service.

8. AI output

AI chat and voice agents generate responses automatically and can be wrong. Do not rely on their output for legal, medical, financial, or other advice requiring a licensed professional. You are responsible for reviewing how an agent is configured and what it is permitted to tell your customers.

9. Service availability and SLA

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. For Cloud ERP, the uptime target and regions are stated on /erp — that page, not this paragraph, is the source of truth for the current SLA figure.

10. Intellectual property

The Parsimony platform, its software, design, and content are owned by Parsimony LLC. Using our services does not grant you ownership of the platform itself.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parsimony LLCis not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

Either party may end a service agreement per its terms. Automate subscriptions end when cancelled through Stripe or by contacting us, and Parsimony Chat packages when cancelled inside the app (see §3). On termination, you keep access to export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted from our systems. We may terminate access immediately for a violation of §6.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that state unless otherwise required by applicable law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
