Cloud ERP · Enterprise

Enterprise ERPNext for multi-company operations.

Accounting through manufacturing, CRM through EDI, on one open-source system: ERPNext on Frappe Cloud, configured for more than one entity and migrated off the systems most enterprise ERPs will not touch — Gartman, CAD/CAM, NetSuite, and QuickBooks among them.

Core modules

The operating system, not another app.

Accounting

Ledger, payables, receivables, bank rec, cost centers, and reporting that closes the month without a spreadsheet dump.

Sales

Inquiries, quotations, orders, and delivery notes tied to live stock so you do not sell what you cannot ship.

Buying

Supplier quotes, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices — with history on the vendor, not a buried email thread.

Stock

Warehouses, serials, batches, and reconciliation, with daily encrypted backups and point-in-time restore behind all of it.

Manufacturing

BOMs, work orders, job cards, and production cost rolled back into inventory and accounting.

CRM

Leads, opportunities, and support tickets in the same system that already has the order and the invoice.

Human resources

Employee records, leave, attendance, and payroll — via Frappe HR, installed and managed alongside ERPNext, not a second silo.

Projects

Timelines, tasks, costs, Gantt, and billing against the sales order when the work is done.

Support

Tickets, warranties, maintenance, and SLAs — linked to the customer record, not a helpdesk island.

Website & commerce

Sync products, customers, and orders with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or a site you run from ERP.

Learning (LMS)

Courses, enrollment, and assessments for staff or customers — tracked next to the people who take them.

And the rest

Sourcing, container tracking, quality, custom DocTypes. If the operation needs it, it is a metadata change, not a new app.

EDI

Trading partners speak EDI. So do we.

Each trading partner has its own segment qualifiers, item cross-references, and ship-to codes. We map those to ERPNext DocTypes once, test them with the partner, and the transaction sets run without someone re-keying a purchase order by hand. The order-to-cash set we configure most often:

Additional sets — 856 corrections, 812 credit memos, 820 payment remittance — are scoped per trading partner during onboarding.

Legacy cutovers

What is Gartman, and why the cutover is different.

Operator's note

Gartman is an on-premise, DOS-lineage ERP and MRP system still running plants in flooring, textile, and other manufacturing operations. It was built for one plant, one company, one country — no REST API, no standard export, and the report that shows the real bill of materials is often a printout someone photocopied a decade ago.

A CAD/CAM cutover is the same problem from the other direction: the drawing and the cut list live in the machine, not the ledger, so nobody's stock count matches what actually shipped.

We do not assume either transfers cleanly. We rebuild the item master and the bill of materials from source documents, run a parallel close against the old system before anyone commits, and cut over on a date you pick — not a deadline the software forces on you. Scope and timeline for that work are on implementation services.

How Parsimony consolidates multiple entities in ERPNextThree entities close their own books independently. Intercompany eliminations net out internal invoices between them. The result is one consolidated profit and loss statement. Multi-company

Six entities. One ledger you can close.

Each company keeps its own chart of accounts, its own currency, and its own close. Sales and purchases between entities post as intercompany transactions and net out in eliminations, so the group total is never double-counted. Roll it up and you get one consolidated profit and loss — not a spreadsheet somebody rebuilds every month-end.

HumanityNow runs six country entities on this pattern in managed ERPNext on Frappe Cloud. Their monthly close moved from three weeks to four days.

FAQ

Common questions.

01

Does Enterprise ERPNext include HR and payroll?

Not in ERPNext core. HR and payroll run on Frappe HR, installed and managed alongside ERPNext — leave, attendance, and payroll in the same login as the order and the invoice, not a second system.

02

Can Parsimony migrate us off Gartman or a CAD/CAM system?

Yes. Neither exports cleanly, so we rebuild the item master and BOM from source documents and validate with a parallel close before cutover. See the operator's note below, and implementation services for how the engagement is scoped.

03

What EDI transaction sets does ERPNext handle?

The core order-to-cash set: 850 purchase orders in, 855 acknowledgments out, 856 advance ship notices out, 810 invoices out. Additional sets are mapped per trading partner during onboarding.

04

How is this page different from /erp?

/erp is the operator-built Cloud ERP story: one company, one entity, the fastest path to live. This page is the module catalogue for multi-company, EDI, and legacy-system cutovers. Both run on the same managed ERPNext on Frappe Cloud — the scope is what differs, and the quote reflects it.
