Parsimony — Customers

One customer we can name. A family we disclose.

This is the short version, on purpose. HumanityNow is the one customer whose story is published here in full, with real numbers. Below that is a disclosed note on the companies Steve Simonson runs that use Parsimony's own products internally — not customers, and not billed as testimonials.

  • HumanityNow: 6 countries, close in 3 weeks → 4 days
  • Automate from $57/mo · Stripe checkout
  • Cloud ERP — quoted, 99.95% uptime target

Automate and Parsimony Chat are self-serve with a free trial. Cloud ERP is quoted after one call. Phone +1 (307) 284-5523.

Case file — HumanityNow

Monthly close: three weeks to four days.

HumanityNow was running operations across 6 countries using a patchwork of QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and manual reporting. Monthly financial close took 3 weeks and the team had no real-time visibility into budgets.

Parsimony migrated HumanityNow to Frappe Cloud ERP — a fully managed ERPNext deployment with custom modules for multi-currency accounting, grant tracking, and procurement. HumanityNow went live in about two weeks.

Monthly financial close dropped from 3 weeks to 4 days. The operations team gained real-time visibility into 6 country budgets from a single dashboard.

Runs on Parsimony

The companies Steve Simonson also runs.

Parsimony is not the only company its founder runs. A few of the others use Parsimony's own products internally — the same ERPNext hosting, Automate CRM, and Stripe billing sold on this site. That is disclosed here as what it is: dogfooding, not a customer testimonial. None of these three companies were paid or asked to say anything about Parsimony; the relation each has to Parsimony is a fact about the plumbing, not an endorsement.

  1. 01

    Sourcing Goat

The product-sourcing system behind multichannel ecommerce sellers surveying a niche and sampling suppliers.

Runs its product engine on ERPNext through the Parsimony engine.

  2. 02

    Giddyup

AI video generation that turns a listing photo into a 9:16 reel for Amazon and ecom operators.

Bills through Parsimony's Stripe account and runs its CRM on Parsimony Automate.

  3. 03

    SymoGlobal

A sourcing, supply chain, and M&A advisory practice for ecommerce companies.

Runs its customer relationship management on Parsimony Automate.

The full family — including who shares no infrastructure with Parsimony at all — is mapped in detail on the operator stack.

Editorial policy

We only publish a case study when the customer agrees to it, on the record, with numbers we can trace back to a real system. That is a slower way to build this page, and it is why this page is short.

It grows one named, consenting customer at a time. If you run Parsimony and would be willing to go on the record, say so on the contact page.

FAQ

Common questions about Parsimony customers.

01

Why does this page only name one customer?

Parsimony publishes a case study when the customer agrees, on the record, with numbers we can point back to. HumanityNow gave that consent; the numbers here are the same ones published on the HumanityNow case study and on the Cloud ERP page. Other customers are welcome to go on the record — ask at the contact page.

02

Are Sourcing Goat, Giddyup, and SymoGlobal Parsimony customers?

No. They are companies Steve Simonson runs, separate from Parsimony, that happen to use Parsimony's own ERPNext hosting, Automate CRM, or Stripe billing internally. That is disclosed here as dogfooding, not sold as a testimonial. The full breakdown, including what does not share infrastructure, is on the ecosystem page.

03

What does “quoted” mean next to Cloud ERP?

Automate ($57 / $199 / $497 a month, self-serve at Stripe) and Parsimony Chat ($97 / $197 / $497 a month, 15-day free trial) are the same product at the same price for every customer. Cloud ERP depends on your data, your entities, and your team, so it is scoped on a call and quoted in writing before any work starts.

04

How long does a Cloud ERP go-live take?

Typically weeks, not quarters. HumanityNow went live in about two weeks, moving six country entities off QuickBooks and spreadsheets. Discovery, migration, configuration, training, and go-live support are all scoped in the quote.

05

Does Parsimony publish star ratings or review aggregates?

Not yet. A rating is only as honest as the sample behind it, and today that sample is one named customer. Review markup gets added once there are enough named, consenting customers for an aggregate to mean something.
